The affliction of language and how it’s used.

I would be ashamed of this story if I wasn’t five years old when it happened.

I could read when I was four and could read pretty well by the time I was five. I have always loved reading - my mother is a reader and I wanted so badly to have a relationship with books like she did…so I learned to read.

Sesame Street and the beautiful librarian at the downtown Atlanta Metro Library, who read books to us, had a lot to do with that.
