OMG. You are a terrific storyteller. I'm terrified of snakes even though I've never had a real encounter with one. City girl.

I love reading all these stories of yours.

Aaaahhhhh!!!! I've lived in water moccasin territory for decades & yr story has me backed up a wall w/all my appendages tucked in like a turtle whispering," pls make it go away, pls make it go away..." Made me forget all abt "Release the Epstein files" for a few (terrifying, eyes-closed, petrifying) moments, phew! 🫶🏻

Thank you for the good info. I, luckily, have never encountered this particular devil before, not having lived in the right places but now I know. I do remember the good old fort days though. Nothing better than an afternoon in a dirt hole spying on your fellow gangs of neighborhood hoodlums. The good old days!

Heck yeah. Halcyon days, right?

Hey, so we keep it as light as possible around her. I appreciate the interaction and maybe it's just me, but this seems kind of aggressive at best. I believe we probably have the same general train of thought, so let's just have fun with it, OK? This is a place to goof off. There are a lot of other places you can go be extra serious and kind of aggressive. Thanks for the reads, no hard feelings.

We called them water moccasins when I was a kid living in Pickerington, OH...shit those fuckers are mean ass sons of bitches.

And, we had forts and pilfered pop's pop's stash, and chips, too. Nothing like living the fort life with one's fellow street urchin comrades.

There is nothing more organized and cooperative than a group of dirty little kids making 'the best fort ever.' I miss it.

I want to build a fort now.

Me, too. I may write more about the forts. They were so dang fun. I told hubs we need to open an adult fort building get away package. Show up just like you did when you were a kid - with nothing but a vision - and we’ll provide the trash piles of cool shit to make the best fort ever with - you can even spennanight in it and invite your buddies…

So they're all in congress now?

Wendy, hell yes. Snake Road closed for the serpents’ migration. Nature’s weirdest traffic jam. I grew up where a water moccasin could ruin your day and your shoes. You don’t go there for a picnic. You go there for a story you’ll tell while limping.

Love the fort lore. Mud turds, warm Cokes, and dads who throw knives like baseballs. That image is cinematic. It explains everything about why we cheer for people who can move fast when snakes show up.

Again. Very aggressive. Id appreciate toning that down a bit or not replying at all. I can certainly understand your perceived affection for snakes. This is satire. If you're looking for a herp page, I'm sure you can find one.

And again, aggressive. Id appreciate if you'd just move on. You clearly are looking for something else or you got my commenter fucked up for your whipping fools, either way I'm bored of this and asking specifically for you to scroll on.

Let's build a fort, no mansplainers allowed.

You don't understand satire, do you?
